Come bring her back to me today.
You stand there, cold in the rain with an umbrella clenched in your hand. You are dry and you feel half guilty for being that way, everyone else in drenched, soaked to the toe. Feeling a little nervous, you are unsure whether she noticed you, you stand your ground and eye her with hope. She looks at you, finally, she has acknowledged your presence, she waves and asks how your day went.
A simple fine would do or even a description of how bad it went would be okay.
But you choose to give a nod, hoping that by doing little, you won't be expressing too much. Does she notice? You hope not.
Like a peeping Tom or a stalker, you stand at the side as she walks towards her friends, you are left unnoticed and pushed to the corner.
A sick thought invades your mind, no, it is not right to think that, not while she is in such close proximity, you shake the thought away, trying to give her some respect.
A single rain drop falls into your shirt and slides down your back. The ice cold feeling sends chills down, you can feel her finger.
You gasp, only to stop immediately after realising that you were being ridiculous.
You keep your eyes at her, she laughs and your inside laughs. You don't get the joke but you pretend you do.
You sit to stare at her, hoping that she won't see you.
You want to merge with the wall and yet your heart and body wants to explode every time she is near.
You stay there quiet.
Before you think it is over, she looks back at you.
That look and exchange, that second when time stopped and everything else didn't matter said everything; she notice you.
You get home with such excitement, your heart pounding, you walk into your room, lock the door and pray that God will forgive you.
You must take off the clothes, they are suffocating you. They are drenched by your sweat, your umbrella served no purpose.
You need the room, you need your bed, you need to taste her.
You fling your bag aside, you cannot stop.
You play yourself happy and with a release, you are done.
You are done.
You are done.
John Mayer made a really insightful blog post, go read it.
Hello, sloth, how are you today?
I'm feeling sloth-like, my day was filled with many sloth-like-activities.
How were they?
Pretty slothy. G'night I wanna sloth.
